7th Grade Band-RED

7th Grade Band Red Band will meet on ODD days during period 3. This section of 7th grade band will be co-taught by Ms. DiMento and Mr. Morel. We will perform 3 times this year. Some pieces will be played just as our class, other pieces will combine with the Grey Band to preform as one massive 7th Grade Band. Additionally, the group will perform for adjudication in the spring at the Galvin Music Festival. The fundamentals of reading and performing music will be taught, reviewed, and reinforced during rehearsals using a varied repertoire of music and supplemental material. Students will also become familiar with the composer, culture, musical theory, and history as it relates to the repertoire.
