7TH GRADE CONCERT BAND

7th Grade Band students will perform two to three times per year. Additionally, the group will perform for adjudication in the spring. The fundamentals of reading and performing music will be taught, reviewed, and reinforced during rehearsals using a varied repertoire of music and supplemental material. Students will also become familiar with the composer, culture, musical theory, and history as it relates to the repertoire.
