8th Grade Concert band

8th Grade Band students will perform at two to three times per year: School concerts will be in December and May. Additionally, the group will perform for adjudication in the spring. The fundamentals of reading and performing music will be taught, reviewed, and reinforced during rehearsals using a varied repertoire of music and supplemental material. Students will also become familiar with the composer, culture, musical theory, and history as it relates to the repertoire.
